Suns add Haywood Highsmith

Phoenix has signed Haywood Highsmith. No terms disclosed.

Brooklyn acquired Haywood Highsmith and a 2032 second-round pick from Miami in exchange for a 2026 second-rounder, per the official transaction record. The 2026 pick was Brooklyn's own and carried 31-55 protection, which did not convey. Miami also picked up a trade exception in the deal.

Phoenix signed center Duop Reath, guard Kennedy Chandler and forward Phillip Wheeler to Exhibit 10 deals ahead of camp. To clear space, the Suns waived John Camden, Corey Camper Jr. and Sam Hoiberg, who had only just signed similar deals days earlier.
