Spurs seen as likely to extend Sixth Man Keldon Johnson
ESPN's Tim MacMahon says there's a good chance San Antonio works out a new deal for Keldon Johnson, who won Sixth Man of the Year last season.
Johnson enters the final year of his four-year, $74M rookie extension, worth roughly $17.5 million this season, and would hit unrestricted free agency in 2027 without an extension.
No terms on a new deal have been reported yet. MacMahon and ESPN's Brian Windhorst noted his role could shrink further with Devin Vassell, Julian Champagnie, Harrison Barnes and newly signed Tobias Harris all in the wing mix.
