Spurs-Pelicans mock deal sends Fox and picks for Murphy, Murray

Bleacher Report's Grant Hughes pitched a swap sending De'Aaron Fox, Luke Kornet and a heavy haul of first and second-round picks to New Orleans for Trey Murphy III and Dejounte Murray.

Hughes argues Fox's injury-hit Finals, his incoming $221M extension and Dylan Harper's arrival make the Spurs more likely to peak without him. There is no indication either team has engaged on this, and Murphy has also drawn reported interest from the Lakers and Warriors.
