Klay Thompson and P.J. Washington would head to LA in Knecht package

Sai Mohan floats a deal sending Klay Thompson and P.J. Washington to the Lakers for Jarred Vanderbilt, Jaden Hardy, Jake LaRavia, Dalton Knecht, Cameron Carr and a 2032 first-round pick swap.

It builds on Evan Sidery's report that Los Angeles checked in with Dallas about Washington as a fallback if the long-running Jonathan Kuminga pursuit goes nowhere.

Dan Woike of The Athletic reported the Lakers are still scanning the market for frontcourt help despite a full roster after trading for Walker Kessler and signing Kevon Looney.
