Sexton's leg injury could stretch into regular season, Lakers told
Collin Sexton has missed practice for roughly two and a half weeks with a lower-leg injury and has yet to play in the preseason.
Lakers insider Jovan Buha said on his show that the guard can no longer be called day-to-day, calling his situation week-to-week or worse with no return timeline set. Sexton signed a two-year, $19.2 million deal this summer and was expected to back up Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves at the point.
