Tristen Newton has signed a training camp contract with Sacramento, according to Keith Smith of Spotrac. The guard was waived by Houston in late August after two-way stints with Indiana, Minnesota and Houston.

Dallas has fully guaranteed Moussa Cisse's $2,185,116 salary for 2026/27 after the October 1 deadline passed, Marc Stein reports, confirming earlier reporting from Mike Curtis of the Dallas Morning News. The deal had already become partially guaranteed for $1,092,558 once Cisse stayed on the roster through September 1.

The Knicks are monitoring Moussa Cisse's contract situation in Dallas, according to Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News. New York signed Cisse to an offer sheet in July before Dallas matched it, building in an Oct. 1 guarantee date on his salary.
