Saddiq Bey locks in $55.5M extension with New Orleans

Saddiq Bey has agreed to a three-year, $55.5 million extension with the Pelicans, agents James Dunleavy and Jordan Gertler told Shams Charania of ESPN. Charania reports the deal is fully guaranteed and includes a trade kicker.

Will Guillory of The Athletic confirmed the agreement. Bey earns $6.44 million this season before the new money kicks in for 2027-28, running through 2029-30, capping a bounce-back year in which he averaged 17.7 points after missing all of 2024-25 recovering from a torn ACL.
