Sabonis to Minnesota for Gobert, DiVincenzo and Evans among post-sale pitches

Marc Stad has agreed to buy Marc Lore's controlling stake in the Timberwolves at a $4.5 billion valuation, and three blockbuster ideas are proposed for the new owner.

The centerpiece one has Domantas Sabonis going to Minnesota for Rudy Gobert, Donte DiVincenzo and Isaiah Evans, pitched as an offensive upgrade alongside LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards. Sabonis is owed $45.5 million and $48.6 million over the next two seasons after injuries held him to 19 games.
