Rumor roundup ties Beal, Harden and LeBron to trade chatter

LeBron James remains undecided, with Cleveland, Miami, Philadelphia and Golden State framed as the favorites, and part of the holdup is said to be how he would fit on each roster.

In Cleveland that means sharing the ball with Donovan Mitchell and James Harden, who is still a free agent after being willing to opt out to create room; a sign-and-trade of Harden is described as a longshot but not impossible if things sour.

Golden State faces a similar puzzle with Jimmy Butler, who has been told he will not be dealt while rehabbing from ACL surgery.

Separately, Bradley Beal to Boston has drawn skepticism given the Celtics' determination to stay under the tax, while Milwaukee plans to discuss an extension with Tyler Herro rather than reroute him to Detroit.
