Pacers sign James Wiseman to multi-year deal

SNY insider Ian Begley said on "The Putback" that Drew Eubanks is the "safest" pick over James Wiseman for New York's final roster spot. Begley argued a title defense favors the more reliable Eubanks over Wiseman, whose talent he does not doubt but whose injury history does.

James Wiseman has emerged as the frontrunner for New York's 14th and likely final roster spot, New York Post reporter Stefan Bondy reports. Bondy says witnesses have praised Wiseman's camp performance, though he cautioned preseason games still have to play out.

The Knicks are expected to sign only one additional veteran and hold their standard roster at 14 players, according to Marc Stein and Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.
