Nowitzki hints at possible front-office return under Ujiri

Dirk Nowitzki told DLLS Mavs he has had early discussions with new Mavericks basketball operations chief Masai Ujiri about rejoining the franchise.

He said he pulled back from the organization over decisions he disagreed with under the previous front office, but that Ujiri wants him involved going forward. Nowitzki stressed nothing is imminent, citing his broadcasting work with Prime Video and his FIBA board duties as competing commitments.
