Grant Williams would join Doncic in LA in a three-team pitch

Grant Williams and a 2030 second-round pick would head to the Lakers in a floated three-team deal, with Charlotte shedding his $14.2 million salary for a 2031 second and the Clippers absorbing Dalton Knecht and Jaxson Hayes-type young pieces via a trade exception.

Williams shot 38.8 percent from deep in 36 games for the Hornets last season. The argument is that Los Angeles is still hunting a power forward while pursuing Jonathan Kuminga.
