Mock deal sends Patrick Williams, Okoro to Lakers, Grant to Chicago
A hypothetical three-team trade would send Patrick Williams and Isaac Okoro from Chicago to the Lakers, while Jerami Grant would go from Memphis to the Bulls. Los Angeles would ship out Jarred Vanderbilt, Jaden Hardy and Dalton Knecht to Memphis.
The idea comes after Jonathan Kuminga signed a two-year, $13 million deal with Minnesota instead of the Lakers, leaving them still searching for a bigger wing defender.
Financially, the Lakers would land about $1 million below the first apron after absorbing roughly $7.2 million in extra salary. The Bulls would add about $4.4 million and the Grizzlies would save around $11.6 million.
