Mitchell skips Nuggets camp, heads back to Missouri instead

Mark Mitchell is walking away from an Exhibit 10 deal and Denver's training camp to re-enroll at Missouri for a possible fifth season, according to Jeff Goodman of The Field of 68, confirmed by ESPN's Jeff Borzello via Mitchell's agent.

A court ruling from Judge Charlotte Sweeney has opened eligibility for some 2022 high school grads who signed non-guaranteed pro deals, though the NCAA is appealing. Financially it tracks: an Exhibit 10 bonus tops out around $85,000, well short of what Mitchell could command on an NIL deal back in college.
