Love linked to Minnesota reunion as backup center behind Gobert

Kevin Love remains unsigned with about a month left before the season starts, after averaging 6.7 points and 5.8 rebounds over 37 games for Utah last season.

NBA insider Jake Fischer reports the Jazz themselves have interest in bringing Love back, while Minnesota, Cleveland and Philadelphia are also weighing a reunion or signing. Fischer says Love is prioritizing a team with real title hopes as he nears the end of his career.

Athletic reporter Jon Krawczynski notes the Timberwolves have their 15th roster spot open after the Jonathan Kuminga signing and John Konchar buyout, leaving room to add a veteran like Love.
