Lopez floated as buyout target for Heat's open roster spot

Miami plans to leave its 15th roster spot open in case a difference-making player hits free agency, Miami Herald insider Barry Jackson reports. Heat Roundtable's Sean Jordan floated Clippers center Brook Lopez as a potential fit if Los Angeles becomes a seller and buys him out near the deadline.

Lopez, 38, has one year left on his deal and previously played alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee.
