Lively named a Lakers target if Dallas puts him on the block

Dan Favale of Bleacher Report lists Dereck Lively II among young players who could hit the trade block, pointing to his injury record, the final year of his rookie deal and a Dallas frontcourt now built around Cooper Flagg.

Heavy connects that to Los Angeles, where Jovan Buha earlier called Lively "gettable" and once projected a two-first-round-pick offer. The Lakers no longer have those picks, so a package built around Dalton Knecht, other young players and minor assets is floated instead.
