Leonard turned down Miami, Minnesota and Detroit for Raptors deal

Kawhi Leonard has agreed to a two-year, $115 million extension with the Raptors, below the $125M-plus figure Marc Stein had floated. TSN Sports put the max he could have signed at $126 million.

Kawhi Leonard had multiple suitors before deciding to head back to Toronto, Shams Charania reports. Detroit and Minnesota were both prepared to trade for him and discuss an extension, with only one year left on his deal.

Toronto announced via press release that Kawhi Leonard will play for the Raptors this season, ending hours of uncertainty about his status. No contract terms were disclosed.
