Lakers should avoid an Anthony Davis reunion trade, analyst argues
Lake Show Life's Svyatoslav Rovenchuk argues the Lakers should give 'no consideration' to trading for Anthony Davis, who remains with Washington without a contract extension in place.
Davis can opt out or pick up a $62.8 million player option, and either path makes a move back to Los Angeles unworkable financially, Rovenchuk wrote.
He notes the Lakers already carry big commitments to Luka Doncic, Walker Kessler and Austin Reaves, leaving no realistic mechanism to absorb Davis' salary. No trade talks are reported here, only one analyst's case against reviving the idea.
