Lakers' G League affiliate lands Abmas rights in three-team swap

Coachella Valley, the Lakers' G League affiliate, acquired the returning player rights to guard Max Abmas and a 2027 second-round G League pick in a three-team deal with the Delaware Blue Coats and Rip City Remix. Los Angeles sent out the returning rights to forward Keylan Boone in the swap.

Abmas has signed with Turkish club Petkim Spor for this season, so an immediate move to Coachella Valley is unlikely. The move simply gives the Lakers control of his G League rights if his overseas situation changes.
