Knicks roster battle, Lopez-Nets buzz headline Atlantic notes

Bruce Brown, Ochai Agbaji and James Wiseman are competing for what looks like one open Knicks roster spot after all three signed non-guaranteed Exhibit 9 deals, New York Post columnist Mike Vaccaro writes.

Vaccaro notes New York once tried to trade for Brown from Toronto and sees him as a Josh Hart-style fit given his versatility. Philly Voice's Adam Aaronson flags Ariel Hukporti as raw but athletic depth for the 76ers behind Joel Embiid, citing strong rebounding numbers and turnover issues.

Elsewhere, ESPN's Ben Golliver credits Toronto for offloading Brandon Ingram's contract in the Kawhi Leonard trade, and SI's Ivan White floats Brook Lopez as a potential buyout or trade target for Brooklyn if the Clippers' season sours.
