Knicks now circling Gabe Vincent after landing Konchar over Heat
SNY's Ian Begley reports the Knicks have been in touch with free agents Gabe Vincent, Duop Reath and James Wiseman as camp nears, and are working Vincent out directly. New York already beat Miami to John Konchar, signing him to a one-year deal despite the Heat having discussed an offer with his representatives.
Bam Adebayo has told the team he wants Vincent back, according to ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel, with Miami hoping to lean on his ballhandling after losing Tyler Herro and Norman Powell this summer.
Konchar's deal leaves the Knicks at 14 standard contracts and close to the second apron, but they are still scanning the veteran market.
Three two-way slots remain open, with second-round pick Tyler Nickel expected to take one, while Kevin McCullar Jr. is still viewed as a re-signing candidate after informal workouts with the team.
