Knicks floated as trade suitor for Clippers big man Niederhäuser
Knicks on SI's Max Wildstein suggests New York could dangle one of its distant future first-round picks, from 2030, 2032 or 2033, to pry second-year center Yanic Konan Niederhäuser away from the Clippers, who are dealing with the loss of five straight first-rounders as league punishment.
Niederhäuser is on a cheap rookie deal, making $2.88M this season with team options after that.
The Knicks are more likely to sit tight and keep a roster spot open than actually trade a first-rounder for him.
