Knicks add Agbaji and Wiseman alongside Brown on Exhibit 9 deals
New York has signed Bruce Brown, Ochai Agbaji and James Wiseman to non-guaranteed Exhibit 9 training camp contracts, the team announced, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. They'll compete with John Konchar and Drew Eubanks for the roster's final open spots.
ESPN's Bobby Marks noted the Knicks sit $17.9M over the luxury tax and can keep only one of the two open spots without a trade, with the winner earning a $2.4M veteran minimum salary.
Brown played all 82 games for Denver last season, averaging 7.9 points on strong shooting splits. Agbaji, the 14th pick in 2022, went unclaimed by Brooklyn after his production dipped last year.
Wiseman, the No. 2 overall pick in 2020, has appeared in just five games over the past two years after being released by Indiana in December while working back from injuries.
