Kings sign Drew Eubanks

SNY insider Ian Begley said on "The Putback" that Drew Eubanks is the "safest" pick over James Wiseman for New York's final roster spot. Begley argued a title defense favors the more reliable Eubanks over Wiseman, whose talent he does not doubt but whose injury history does.

Drew Eubanks has signed a training camp deal with New York, according to SNY's Ian Begley. He'll compete for a roster spot behind Karl-Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond, joining fellow camp signee Liam Robbins in that battle. The 29-year-old averaged 5.2 points and 3.0 rebounds in 42 games with Sacramento last season.

SNY's Ian Begley reports the Knicks are tracking free agents Drew Eubanks and John Konchar to fill open standard roster spots, with one veteran minimum slot available under the second apron.
