Kessler returns from pinky injury for Lakers preseason debut

Walker Kessler was upgraded to active and made his first preseason appearance of the year against the Warriors, after missing three games with a jammed left pinky suffered in training camp.

The center had progressed through practice drills over the weekend before getting cleared to play. Luka Doncic sat out the same game for rest, with coach JJ Redick saying it was not injury-related.
