Kel'el Ware to the Lakers, Knecht to Portland in three-team idea

A proposed three-team deal has the Lakers landing Kel'el Ware and Vit Krejci, with Dalton Knecht going to Portland and Milwaukee collecting three second-round picks (a 2031 from Portland, plus 2031 and 2032 from Washington).

Ware, who arrived in Milwaukee this summer in the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade to Miami, would cost about $4.6 million next season with a team option near $7.1 million. Knecht sits at roughly $4.2 million, so the money more or less matches.
