Kawhi Leonard trade to Toronto still unfinished amid league probe

Marc Stein reports Kawhi Leonard rebuffed trade interest from Miami, Minnesota and Detroit, insisting he would only sign an extension with Toronto or San Antonio.

Kawhi Leonard has agreed to a two-year, $115 million extension with the Raptors, below the $125M-plus figure Marc Stein had floated. TSN Sports put the max he could have signed at $126 million.

Kawhi Leonard had multiple suitors before deciding to head back to Toronto, Shams Charania reports. Detroit and Minnesota were both prepared to trade for him and discuss an extension, with only one year left on his deal.
