Kalshi traders still put Kawhi in Toronto at 84% as NBA probe drags
The NBA's cap-circumvention probe into Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers has resolved without voiding his contract, and ESPN's Shams Charania reports nothing now blocks his earlier-agreed trade back to Toronto. Leonard told Charania he wants a clean slate with the Raptors.
The rumored deal would send Brandon Ingram and Gradey Dick to Los Angeles, with Leonard's expiring contract worth about $50 million; Kalshi had priced the move at roughly 84%, down from a 99-cent peak, before this resolution.
As part of the ruling, the Clippers must forfeit the Pacers' 2029 first-rounder acquired in the Tyronn Lue... wait, Zubac trade, rather than the pick owed to Philadelphia, ESPN's Zach Lowe reports, leaving the Sixers' 2029 swap intact.
Former NBA player and podcaster Stephen Jackson had earlier said friends told him Leonard already bought a home in Toronto, taking it as a sign the trade would close.
