Joksimovic climbing toward top of 2027 draft boards

ESPN's Jeremy Woo reports that Baskonia guard Stefan Joksimovic gained more 2027 draft momentum this summer than any other prospect, with evaluators now seeing him as a genuine No. 1 pick candidate. Woo had tabbed Tyran Stokes as the early favorite back in June.

The 6-foot-7 Joksimovic took MVP at Adidas Eurocamp and then at FIBA U18 EuroBasket, where he averaged 23.1 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists while leading Slovenia to gold. Woo notes questions remain about his shooting, rim finishing and what role Baskonia gives him. This is a projection, two years out.
