Kyrie Irving, Mikal Bridges and Jonathan Kuminga headline latest rumor roundup
Kurt Helin of NBC Sports reports the Lakers and Hawks are back in sign-and-trade talks over Jonathan Kuminga, with Jaden Hardy and his $6 million salary now the outgoing piece instead of Jared Vanderbilt's $12.4 million.
Being hard-capped at the first apron leaves Los Angeles roughly $8 million of room, which points to a three-year deal starting near $14 million, about $45 million in total.
Kuminga has said he wants more than that. Elsewhere, Marc Stein writes that rival teams keep wondering whether Dallas holds firm on Kyrie Irving as the February 11 deadline nears, though nothing is moving in the short term.
