Celtics could buy Bronny James from the Lakers with two protected seconds
Writing for FanSided, Lucas Johnson maps out a Bronny James move from Los Angeles to Boston in exchange for a protected 2030 second-rounder (via Charlotte) and a protected 2031 second (via Houston).
The Celtics would absorb his $2.3 million guaranteed 2026-27 salary using the bi-annual exception, meaning no players go back to the Lakers. Johnson's argument: Boston lacks a young point guard behind Derrick White, Payton Pritchard and new signing Mike Conley.
