Hukporti to miss full season with torn Achilles

Sixers center Ariel Hukporti suffered a non-contact right leg injury in Monday's preseason opener against the Knicks. ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel reports league sources confirmed imaging showed a torn right Achilles, ruling him out for the entire 2026-27 season.

It is the second Achilles tear of his career, after a left Achilles rupture in Australia's NBL in 2022. Hukporti signed a one-year, $3.4 million deal with Philadelphia this summer after the Knicks let him walk.
