Huerter's new deal, Collins' fit and Holland's growth: Pistons notes
Kevin Huerter re-signed with Detroit on a three-year, $27 million deal after being acquired from Chicago at last year's deadline.
President of basketball operations Trajan Langdon said he believes a healthy Huerter could have pushed the Pistons past the second round, according to Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press.
John Collins said he was glad to hear from Detroit in free agency, with coach J.B. Bickerstaff praising his size and rebounding. Ron Holland is working to improve his shooting and ball-handling heading into a third season that could set up a rookie extension next summer.
