Hip strain clouds Tacko Fall's 76ers training-camp bid
Tacko Fall's push for Philadelphia's open two-way spot hit a snag after an MRI found a left hip strain, with a re-evaluation set for two weeks, according to Kyle Neubeck of PHLY. Fall left practice early during the second day of camp in Camden, and coach Nick Nurse called it simply a 'hip thing.'
The timeline was confirmed separately by PHLY's Derek Bodner. Fall signed a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 deal with the Sixers on Sept. 1, and the injury now eats into limited practice time as he competes for the roster spot with Adem Bona also sidelined by a foot sprain.
