Heat weigh guard options as Vincent reunion looks unlikely
Jake Fischer says Miami has some internal interest in adding backcourt depth but that a reunion with free agent Gabe Vincent isn't the likely outcome, despite fans for him in the front office and locker room.
Fischer also downplays any chance of a Kyrie Irving trade being realistic for the Heat right now, though he says Miami doesn't view its roster as finished.
Separately, Keshad Johnson told Barry Jackson he had a few standard-contract offers before re-signing his two-way deal with Miami. A scout who spoke to Jackson questioned the Heat's guard creation and scoring, saying he'd have preferred Anfernee Simons to Tim Hardaway Jr. for the same money.
