Fox named as Celtics' plausible target in Paul George trade
The Athletic's James Edwards floated De'Aaron Fox as a trade target for Boston on the Celtics Live podcast, alongside longer shots Karl-Anthony Towns and Bam Adebayo. Edwards argued Fox's pace and passing would fit Boston's style, even though he said he is not a big fan of Fox generally.
Any move would mean absorbing the four-year, $223 million deal Fox signed, and would likely involve moving Paul George. San Antonio's crowded backcourt with Dylan Harper and Stephon Castle is cited as a reason Fox could become available.
