Fan podcast listener floats Dwight Howard as Lakers backup center fix

A listener on the Lakers Nation podcast suggested the Lakers bring back Dwight Howard, 40, after he scored 12 points with seven rebounds and three blocks in his debut for Georgian club Black Fortress Tbilisi.

Podcast host Trevor Lane pushed back, saying he doubts Howard is still an NBA-level player despite the fan's preference for him over backup center Kevon Looney. There is no indication the Lakers have any actual interest in the idea.
