Execs say second-rounders, not firsts, would fetch Bronny James

An NBA executive tells Heavy's Sean Deveney there's real interest around the league in trading for Bronny James, though nobody is offering first-round picks. The Lakers are short on assets and would likely need to clear a roster spot, with Dalton Knecht still seen as the more probable cut.

Fadeaway World's Fran Leiva names the Nets, Clippers, Suns and Hornets as possible landing spots if the Lakers move James, with packages centered on second-round picks.

The proposed Clippers deal would also include guard Yuki Kawamura. Leiva argues James isn't worth a first-rounder yet, though he says that view would change quickly if one were offered.
