Devin Carter lands in Boston on a camp deal
Devin Carter has agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Celtics, Spotrac's Keith Smith reports, that lets him compete for a standard roster spot or a two-way deal in camp.
If he makes the regular-season roster the deal converts to a non-guaranteed standard contract, and he could instead take a bonus to report to Boston's G League affiliate in Maine.
He was traded by Sacramento this offseason as the Kings worked to get under the second apron, then waived by Atlanta. Carter, the 13th pick in the 2024 draft, averaged 8.9 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists across 38 games with Sacramento last season.
