Denver reportedly setting high price on Peyton Watson
Denver has a five-year, $70 million offer on the table for Peyton Watson, according to Tony Jones of The Athletic. Matching Oklahoma City's two-year, $12 million offer sheet for Spencer Jones pushed the Nuggets into the second apron, so keeping Watson would require roster shuffling.
Milwaukee, Atlanta and the Clippers have shown interest in a sign-and-trade, but Denver is asking two first-round picks. Watson averaged 14.6 points and 4.9 rebounds on 41.1% from three last season.
