Council leaves Pelicans Exhibit 10 deal to rejoin Kansas

Melvin Council Jr. agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with New Orleans after going undrafted, but a preliminary injunction clears him to play a fifth college season instead.

Kansas coach Bill Self says Council will begin practicing immediately. ESPN's Jeff Borzello reports the injunction came through last week, making Council the second ex-Jayhawk, after Tre White, to pursue a return to Kansas this way.
