The Clippers have waived guard Cam Christie, per Shams Charania, a day before a $2.3 million salary guarantee date would have kicked in. HoopsHype's Michael Scotto reports the move saves Los Angeles that guarantee and trims the roster to 15 guaranteed deals.
Christie, the 46th pick in 2024, averaged 2.6 points over two limited seasons with the Clippers. He becomes a free agent entering the 2026-27 season.
Free agent center Jamarion Sharp is signing with Toronto and will compete for a two-way contract, Sportsnet's Blake Murphy reports. The deal is expected to be an Exhibit 10, since Sharp has no NBA experience and qualifies for conversion.
The Clippers signed Jahmyl Telfort to an Exhibit 10 contract on Wednesday. He appeared in eight games for the team last season. Los Angeles waived Fletcher Loyer the same day.
Bradley Beal signed a two-year, $13.1 million deal to stay with the Clippers, even as the roster around him was stripped down. Beal told reporters his priority was health and consistency, not chasing a contender elsewhere.
