Clippers move to waive Jamarion Sharp, won't fill his two-way spot
The Clippers intend to waive two-way center Jamarion Sharp ahead of training camp, Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report and The Stein Line reports. The 7-foot-5 big man signed with LA in August after a strong Summer League showing with Toronto, but Fischer says the team isn't currently looking to replace him on the roster.
Sharp spent last season starring for the Texas Legends in the G League, winning Defensive Player of the Year after leading the league in blocks. If he clears waivers this weekend, he becomes an unrestricted free agent on Sunday.
