Clippers could flip Garland for Fox and a pick, insider suggests
On the Third Apron Podcast, Sam Quinn floated sending Darius Garland to San Antonio for De'Aaron Fox and a 2029 first-round pick, a way for the Clippers to claw back draft capital after their punishment in the Kawhi Leonard cap case.
Co-host Yossi Gozlan was skeptical the Spurs would actually do it. The math would trim San Antonio's cap hit by roughly $7.3 million while giving Victor Wembanyama's team a more traditional point guard fit next to Fox's departure easing a crowded backcourt.
