Cavaliers' talks with Gabe Vincent fizzled before Harden deal closed

NBA insider Jake Fischer said on Bleacher Report's livestream that Cleveland spoke with free-agent guard Gabe Vincent before finalizing James Harden's new contract. Those discussions never turned into an offer, and Fischer said Vincent will not be joining the team.

He added that the Cavaliers are hard-capped at the first apron and are now expected to run it back with their current backcourt of Craig Porter Jr., Sam Merrill and Tyrese Proctor.
