Beal says health, not title chase, drove Clippers return
Bradley Beal signed a two-year, $13.1 million deal to stay with the Clippers after Miami, Boston and Golden State showed varying interest in him.
Beal told reporters his priority was availability rather than chasing a contender, citing his trust in the Clippers' medical staff. He has missed at least 29 games in each of the last five seasons and played just six last year before season-ending hip surgery.
