Beal explains why he re-upped with rebuilding Clippers
Bradley Beal signed a two-year, $13.1 million deal to stay with the Clippers, even as the roster around him was stripped down. Beal told reporters his priority was health and consistency, not chasing a contender elsewhere.
He pointed to his relationship with the Clippers' medical staff as a reason to stay rather than restart somewhere new. Beal has missed at least 29 games in each of the last five seasons and is currently out of camp with knee inflammation.
