Banchero trade buzz grows as Celtics shut down White talks

Sam Amick of The Athletic named Paolo Banchero as a possible next star on the move, alongside usual suspects like Anthony Davis and Domantas Sabonis.

Orlando's max deals for Banchero and Franz Wagner, plus Desmond Bane's contract, have squeezed the Magic's cap sheet. Separately, a Western Conference executive said Boston fielded calls on Derrick White after trading Jaylen Brown but flatly refused to engage.

The item also revisits Chicago's 2020 decision to draft Patrick Williams over Tyrese Haliburton and floats Darius Garland to the Clippers as a name to watch amid the Kawhi Leonard situation.
