Charlotte is expected to waive rookie guard Ryan Nembhard after Tuesday's trade sent Dorian Finney-Smith to Atlanta for Buddy Hield, Nembhard and cash, according to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk and Shams Charania.
Miami claimed Bez Mbeng off waivers and will put him on an Exhibit 10 deal, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports. Charlotte had signed him to the same type of contract earlier this month before waiving him over the weekend.
Golden State waived guard Obi Agbim to clear room for Graham Ike's two-way deal, per NBA.com's transaction log. Charlotte cut Tre Carroll to get under 21 players, clearing the way to finalize its trade for Buddy Hield and Ryan Nembhard.
